The book is about a drunk teenager who is confused in who his heart belongs to.  He is stuck between two girls and can’t decide.  There are many thrilling and romantic moments in this book.  One thing that I really liked about this book was that the main character was someone I could relate to and empathize with.  He smokes weed and drinks heavily thinking that it’s the #1 answer to all his problems, but soon finds out that drinking as much as he does is his #1 problem.  Another thing I love about this book is that this character will do the most outrageous things that you’ll never understand. This is why I recommend The Spectacular Now.  –by J.J.
